Two years now I had to cut a video sequence for Law and Oder: SVU for a class while being given a multitude of clips to work with to create the best edit. I honestly struggled with this because I wasn't sure when to cut to the next camera shot to best tell the story in the scene. It was a learning experience that's for sure. I remember hearing this is a common assignment for video editing classes.
